The clarity for both is SI2, which is pretty good. The center yellow diamonds are each 1 carat and the colors are fancy light yellow which is also very good. Promise ring or wait for engagement ring?
Okay, so I have been dating my girlfriend for about a year and a half. We have talked quite a bit about marriage already. She has hinted before that she wants a promise ring. I am thinking about proposing perhaps within the next year so should I still get the promise ring? I know that promise rings are pre engagement but should I still do that while already considering engagement in the future?

Aquamarine engagement ring.?
I really want an aquamarine engagement ring, but I've read different things about them. I know it has a hardness rating of around 7.5 to 8. The one I'm looking at has the aquamarine as the center stone, and it's surrounded by diamonds. Anyway, some websites say that aquamarine is suitable for everyday wear and others say it isn't and that it's more suitable for occasional wear. Since it would be my engagement ring I'd be wearing it pretty much everyday.I really love the color, and I don't want just a plain diamond ring, but I also want something that is durable. My boyfriend and I don't know much about rings, and we're getting tired of searching for a definitive answer. Do women sometimes wear fake engagement rings or rings in general on their left ring finger when they are not engaged married? If this is done, my theory is that they do it to fend off unwanted male attention. I'm just asking because this girl was smiling at me recently before I got in line behind her. I looked down as I was standing behind her and noticed that she had what looked to be an engagement ring rock in center on her left ring finger. If she was engaged, why was she giving me attention?

How exactly do you go about looking at engagement rings?
My boyfriend and I are supposed to go Wednesday to look at engagement rings. We're going to look around, try some on, and try to figure out what we like and what's in our price range.What should we be looking for exactly? I understand the four Cs, but money is tight we're probably looking at less than $1,000 . Is it rude to go and try on rings that you won't be planning on buying for a few more months?We have no plans to try on $10,000 diamonds or anything of the sort. I want to look at rings I might actually get, not ones that are way out of my price range.
